Salt Cell Protector Instructions for Use
- One gallon treats 15,000 gallons pool water
- Salt Cell Protector contains a magnesium complex. Magnesium deposits on chlorinator cells preferentially to calcium, resulting in a much softer deposit which is far easier to remove.
- Overall, water hardness is a measure of the dissolved calcium and magnesium ions in the pool water. Addition of one gallon of Salt Cell Protector to a 15,000 gallon pool results is an increase in hardness of approximately 100 parts per million.
- Salt Cell Protector does not remove dissolved metals from the pool water.
- Salt Cell Protector does not remove existing scale from pool surface.
